Rene Aguilar Jr.

Rene serves as Managing Partner to Hourglass Partners Inc, channeling his financial expertise into the private equity world. He manages to leverage the latest financial tools and resources, which signifies an innovative approach from the transportation sector. His work with Fortune 500 companies speaks to his capability to manage and cultivate high-level professional relationships and to navigate the demands of major corporate clients. Rene’s extensive experience in supply chain management over the past 20 years, particularly in international trading, indicates a deep understanding of the complexities involved in moving goods and services globally. His academic background in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing has provided him with a strong foundation in understanding consumer behavior. In addition to business, Rene thrives on giving back to the community. He is actively involved with JLos Angeles, a Jewish community center located in Los Angeles, CA. Traveling, food & wine, history and immersing in different cultures are some other of Rene’s personal interests.

Alex Innocent

Alex is a Napa-based wine industry executive with 14 years experience ranging from analytics to marketing leadership and strategic planning. His recent projects are focused on bringing process improvement and turnaround strategies to heritage brands. In his free time, he makes wine with his partner from local vineyards and enjoys running and mountain biking in the hills of Northern California. Alex holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Bryan Yankton

Bryan has over 12 years of global M&A experience helping publicly-traded, private equity-backed, venture-backed and privately-held companies in North/Latin America, Europe and Asia, with strategic growth initiatives and buy-side/sell-side deal execution. He has experience in various industries, including industrials, transportation packaging and technology. Bryan had a stint at The Carlyle Group where he helped grow a portfolio company through adjacent acquisitions and executed a roll-up strategy for transport packaging companies. His experience at HERE Technologies consisted of reviewing M&A and venture investment opportunities within supply-chain, automotive and location technology companies. He holds a BS in Finance & Minor in International Business at DePaul University and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Jose Hernandez

Jose boasts 5 years of robust experience as a developer, engaging with diverse entities such as researchers, consultancies, investment firms, and freelancing ventures. Throughout his journey, he has honed a comprehensive skill set in programming and development, with a particular emphasis on Python. Concurrently, he fervently pursues AI studies for a master's degree, demonstrating a deep commitment to research and development. Originally trained in robotics engineering, Jose specialized in programming during his college tenure, culminating in a title as a Digital Systems and Robotics Engineer. Currently, he is on the path to attaining an Applied Artificial Intelligence degree from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.
